Ginger L Franklin has a Master’s degree in literature with an emphasis in border and migration literature. She has presented several papers at Modern Language Association conferences as well as Generative Art 2016 in Florence, Italy. She taught and tutored college English from 2006 until 2017 when, with gusto, she quit to pursue her writing career. She is now working on several other books that focus on the personal aspects of border politics and ecology in Tijuana as well as the current refugee discourse in the United States. She is from New Mexico, but now lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her awesome husband and her little black poodle, Mephista (Fifi).
